What is PayPal Payments Pro and how do I get started?

PayPal Payments Pro is a fully customizable payments system that lets you accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and PayPal Credit1. You create the online checkout experience that’s right for your customers – from branding and look-and-feel to back-end integration.

What can I do with PayPal Payments Pro?

With PayPal Payments Pro, you get all the benefits of PayPal Payments Standard, plus the ability to accept payments via phone, fax and mail (with Virtual Terminal)2.  PayPal Payments Pro is fully customizable and integrates with almost all major shopping carts out of the box.

Is it right for my business?

PayPal Payments Pro is a good solution for any business that wants to accept credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal and PayPal Credit, while keeping customers on their website throughout the checkout experience.

PayPal Payments Pro also gives you detailed order management and transaction history, letting you see all credit card, debit card, and PayPal transactions in one place. For every sale, funds are transferred into your PayPal account, usually in minutes. You can then transfer the money to your bank account or keep it in your PayPal account to use for other online business transactions. All of it is easily managed in your PayPal dashboard.

PayPal Payments Pro is $30 per month, plus our base merchant rate of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Learn more about fees.
