QR code payments allow you to get paid in person with PayPal just by displaying your QR code for senders to scan using the PayPal app. It's free to create and share a QR code.    

You may also scan other’s QR code directly, then you're ready to send your payments straight away. You just need to open the camera on your mobile or PayPal app and scan the code to pay.

Here's how to scan QR Code to send payment on your mobile:

1. Open the latest version of the PayPal app.
2. Tap the QR code icon at the top right of the screen.
3. Point the camera at the QR code to scan.
4. Enter the amount, select your bank or card, and select your payment type.
5. Tap Send.

Here’s how to receive payments on your phone:

1. Open the latest version of the PayPal app.
2. Tap the QR code icon at the top right of the screen.
3. Tap Your code or Seller QR code (fees apply).
4. Ask the sender to scan your code and complete the payment.
