When you make a purchase with your PayPal Business Debit Mastercard®, we'll use any available money you have in your PayPal balance. Here's what you need to do to add money to your PayPal balance:
Receive Money
When someone sends you money through PayPal or a customer makes a payment to you, it goes into your PayPal balance and can be used for your PayPal Business Debit Mastercard® purchases.
Add Money to Your PayPal Balance Using Linked Bank or Debit Card
You can add money to your PayPal balance using:
- Your Visa or Mastercard debit card.
- A confirmed bank account.
On Web after you log in, go to your Homepage or Money page and select Add Money. In the PayPal app, click “Add money” on the Home or Balance page.
Adding money from your bank account usually takes up to 5 business days (Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays aren’t considered business days); however, you can add money in seconds, typically, using a debit card. Both options can be done at any time and at no cost. We’ll email you when the transfer completes.
