PayPal Rewards allows customers to earn cash back on their purchases from many top brands. With a PayPal Debit Card, you can also earn 5% back in a monthly category you choose, including fuel, groceries, restaurants, apparel, or rideshare/public transit, on up to $1,000.00 in monthly category spend. Monthly categories subject to change.

Use the PayPal app to find cash back offers and we'll automatically apply them when you check out. Checkout with your PayPal account or PayPal Debit Card to start collecting cash back and rewards points.

Points will typically appear as pending in your account overview within 1-14 days of the qualifying purchase. Points can be used or redeemed after 90 days.

Travel-related points (such as points earned from eligible hotel reservations, airfare, or rental cars) may take longer to become accessible in your account.

PayPal is a digital wallet that follows you wherever you go. There is no separate PayPal Rewards enrollment process. You only need an account with PayPal to start earning rewards. You don’t need to have any PayPal balance in your account to use PayPal. Similar to a physical wallet, when you are making a purchase, you can choose to pay for your items with any of the credit or debit cards or bank accounts that are linked to your account with PayPal.
