How do I update my bank details on my PayPal account after a name change?

If the name on your bank account has changed, you need to remove this bank account from your PayPal account and add it back to use it again.

Here’s how to remove your bank account from a web browser.

1. Go to Banks and Cards.
2. Select the bank you want to remove.
3. Click Remove bank.

To link a bank on the web:

1. Click Finance.
2. Go to Banks and Cards.
3. Click Link a new bank.
4. Search for your bank or select it from the list.
5. You can link your bank instantly by entering your bank login details. If the instant option isn't available, enter your bank account details manually and click Agree and Link.
