Get started by linking your card.

Log into your account with PayPal.

Click Wallet, then click Link a card and enter the details of your American Express Card.

Click Link card.
Once linked, you'll see your available points balance and an option to use points for eligible purchases when you check out with PayPal.1
If your eligible American Express Card is already linked, then you are all set to start enjoying using Membership Rewards when you check out with PayPal!
Start shopping
Now that you’ve linked your card, start shopping.
When you shop online, select your eligible American Express Card and check out with PayPal. See your available points balance and associated dollar value for use. Check Pay with Rewards and finalize your order.
Donate your rewards
Donate your rewards to support a cause you love.
It’s also easy to donate your Membership Rewards points to support a cause you care about. Your points will automatically be converted to the equivalent dollar donation amount.
