How do I add money to my PayPal balance from my bank?

Adding money from your bank account to your PayPal balance usually takes up to 5 business days (Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays aren’t considered business days).

You can add money to your PayPal balance using a confirmed bank account.

Here’s how to add money to your balance in the app: 

1. Go to the Me tab  
2. Tap Add Money  
3. Select from your bank or debit card 
4. Enter the amount  
5. Choose how you want to complete your transfer

In some cases, a funds transfer from a bank account may be available instantly. We’ll let you know your options when you initiate a transfer.

There are daily, weekly, and monthly limits on the amounts you can transfer to your PayPal balance from your bank.
