How do I add, remove or update an email address on my PayPal account?

Here's how to add, edit or remove an email address:

1. Go to Your Profile. The circle with your initials. 
2. Click on Settings: (Gear icon)
3. Click on Account Owner Information 
4. Click on Update next to Email Address 
5. Click on the Add New button, enter your new email address, and click Confirm.

• Verify: PayPal will send a confirmation email; click the link or enter the code to verify it.
• Set as Primary: In the Emails section, next to your new email, select the option to make it primary.
• Remove Old: Once the new one is primary, you can delete the old email by choosing Delete in the dropdown menu.

You can't edit or delete your primary email address. If you want to remove your primary email address, you first need to set up another email address as your primary email address.
