Why is my Payflow Pro payment pending?
If you use PayPal as a processor, our Fraud Protection Services (FPS) may cause a payment to show as pending (PayPal confirms transactions before capturing them).
When you enable FPS, and run a transaction as a Sale, PayPal initially treats it as an Authorization. The FPS filters deployed on your account won't process the transaction until the card-issuing bank has cleared it.
Once the Authorization passes FPS filtering, the Authorization stays in Pending status on PayPal.com. PayPal captures the payment in the next batch process, which runs every 2 hours. Once captured, your payment will show as Completed.
You can reach Payflow Gateway Support by phone or email as follows:

If you use PayPal APIs, don't use Fraud Protection Services, because they can prevent the capture of money for PayPal transactions.
