Why did I get result code 108?
You tried to cancel a transaction that has already been voided or settled.
If you receive a void error, do one of the following:
Check if the transaction is voided
- Log in to your PayPal Manager account.
- Click Search Transactions.
- Search by Credit Card Reference.
- Enter the Transaction ID of the transaction you're trying to void.
- Select the Date Range.
- Click Submit. PayPal Manager then displays all transactions procesed during the specified date range using the same credit card number as the transaction flagged in the Transaction ID field.
See if the transaction has settled
- Log in to your PayPal Manager account.
- Click Search Transaction.
- Type in the Transaction ID.
- Click Submit.
- Under Additional Information, locate the Transaction State. If the Transaction State is 8, the transaction has settled.
Note: If the transaction has already settled, you must issue a credit.
