How do I request an API signature?

Important: NVP/SOAP is a legacy integration method. We accept new integrations and support existing integrations, but there are more up-to-date solutions. If you're starting an integration, we recommend our latest solutions.

The API signature is a string value that forms your API credentials from your API username and API password. Our SDKs support authentication using API signatures.

Note: It isn’t possible to have both an API signature and certificate. If you already have an API certificate, it must be removed before the API signature can be requested.

To request an API signature:

  1. Go to the 'Your Payment API Credentials’ page.
  2. Scroll down and click the 'NVP/SOAP API Integration (Classic)' tile.
