How do I enable Point of Sale Loyalty?
Sellers can set up a loyalty program that rewards customers with sign-up and loyalty coupons. Customers earn sign-up coupons by joining the mailing list.
They earn loyalty coupons by spending a certain amount with your business.
Sign-up coupons
Here’s how to enable Sign-up coupons through the Point of Sale App and in your Point of Sale online.
- Log in to your Point of Sale online and go to Account & settings.
- Click Signup coupons.
- You can now set a discount of 5%, 10%, 15%, or 20% and a validity period of 30, 90, or 365 days.
- Click Activate coupons.
After you enable sign-up coupons, each time you add a new customer to your Customer List, they’ll receive the welcome email with the discount code. The codes are automatically generated.
You can turn off coupons under Settings, but coupons that customers have already received are still valid under the set expiry date.
Loyalty coupons
Here’s how to enable Loyalty coupons through the Point of Sale App and in your Point of Sale online.
- Log in to your Point of Sale online and go to Account & settings.
- Click Loyalty coupons.
- Enter a Milestone amount.
- Choose a percentage discount or a fixed amount discount as the reward.
- Set a validity period of 30, 90, or 365 days.
- Click Activate coupons.
Here's how to edit both coupon types:
- Log in to your Point of Sale online and go to Account & settings.
- Choose the coupon type you would like to edit.
- Make your changes.
Note: coupons that customers have already received are still valid under the set expiry date.
How do I check how close a customer is to a coupon?
You can check how close a customer is to a coupon in the Point of Sale App or in your Point of Sale online.
- Click the Customers tab.
- Select the customer you want to check.
- You can now see how close the customer is to a coupon.
Here's how to redeem Loyalty & Sign-up coupons:
- Add the selected products to the cart.
- Click the shopping cart icon.
- Select Discount.
- Click Coupon.
- You can now scan the barcode found in the welcome email or enter the code manually to apply the coupon amount.
- Click Apply.
- You will see the discount amount and updated total.
- You can now complete the transaction.
You can redeem the customer's coupon at checkout or offer a manual discount instead. Coupons can only be redeemed in full.
