How do I connect the Terminal to WiFi?

You can connect your Terminal to a WiFi network or use the SIM card provided. The first time you turn on your Terminal, you’ll be asked to connect to your WiFi network during the initial setup.

If you go out of range of your WiFi network, the mobile network will take over seamlessly so you can keep doing business (subject to network availability and connectivity).

Point of Sale pays the cost of accessing the mobile network so you aren’t charged for using it.

To connect to/ change the WiFi:

  1. Go to Settings and tap Network.
  2. Select your WiFi, enter the password if necessary, and tap OK.

To enable/ disable your mobile network:

  1. Go to Settings and tap Network.
  2. Tap Mobile network.

The WiFi on my Terminal isn’t working:

  • Turn the WiFi off and on.
  • Make sure that you’ve entered the correct password.
  • Make sure that your router is connected correctly. Check your router manual for more detailed information about the setup.
  • The Terminal doesn’t support open WiFi networks (such as airport or train WiFi networks) because they may be insecure.

The mobile network on my Terminal isn't working:

  • Make sure your mobile network is turned on in Settings.
  • Restart your Terminal.
