Accessories for your Terminal

You can use the following printers with your Terminal:

• Terminal Printer and Dock
• Star mC-Print 3 MCP-31LB
• Star mC-Print 2 MCP-21LB

Here's how to connect an external printer:

1. Open the Point of Sale App, tap the menu, and select Settings.
2. Go to Receipt printers and select your printer (pull to refresh the page if you don’t see your printer).
3. Now you can print a test receipt to make sure everything’s working properly.

Make sure the Terminal and the printer are connected to the same network (the Terminal only supports LAN/WLAN printers. It won’t work with bluetooth printers).

How do I connect a cash drawer?

Here's how to connect a cash drawer:

1. Connect the cash drawer cable to your LAN/WLAN printer.
2. Open the Point of Sale App from your home screen and go to Settings. Tap Cash drawer and select the cash drawer you’d like to open.
3. The connected printer to the cash drawer must be the one set as the receipt printer. The Printer and Dock should be set as Order ticket.

We support cash drawers with the standard plug 24V and RJ-11.

You can only connect a cash drawer to a LAN/WLAN printer. It’s not possible to connect a cash drawer with the Printer and Dock.
