PayPal and Spotify UK Terms and Conditions
PayPal Pte Ltd ("PayPal Pte") will donate £5 for each Eligible Subscription to Spotify Premium between 12 December 2019 12:01 GMT and 31 December 2019 23:59 GMT (the “Promotion End Date”) using PayPal as the payment method from Spotify UK [https://www.spotify.com/premium/?utm_source=paypal&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=paypal_holiday_2019] to PayPal Giving Fund UK (a registered charity in England and Wales, with registered charity number 1110538) who will, in turn, grant the funds to support Youth Music (a registered charity in England and Wales, with registered charity number 1075032 (the "Promotion"), up to a maximum total donation of £250,000 (the “Cap”).
Eligible Subscription means new Spotify Premium subscriptions paid for using PayPal as the payment method; or existing Spotify subscriptions that switch to PayPal as the payment method between 12 December 2019 12:01 GMT and 31 December 2019 23:59 GMT. The Promotion does not apply to: (i) any other subscriptions sold on Spotify UK; or (ii) existing Spotify subscriptions that already have PayPal as the payment method, and no donations will be generated through purchases of these subscriptions.
The Promotion will end on the Promotion End Date or once the Cap has been reached, whichever occurs first. Any subscriptions to Spotify Premium made after the Promotion End Date or after the Cap has been reached will not qualify for a donation.
Youth Music is a national charity investing in music-making projects that help children and young people aged 0-25 to develop personally and socially as well as musically. For further information on Youth Music, please visit https://www.youthmusic.org.uk/.
All donations made by PayPal Pte to PayPal Giving Fund UK will be granted to Youth Music in accordance with all PayPal Giving Fund UK policies. To view these policies please visit /webapps/mpp/givingfund/policies. PayPal Pte will donate sums to PayPal Giving Fund UK for granting to Youth Music no later than 31 January 2020.
The Promotion is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over with a valid PayPal account. No part of your purchase of any Eligible Product is tax deductible.
The contract for Spotify Premium is between you and Spotify UK (a company incorporated in England and Wales, with registered number 06436047). PayPal Pte and PayPal Giving Fund UK are not responsible for the subscriptions purchased on Spotify.com/UK.
The PayPal User Agreement (/webapps/mpp/ua/useragreement-full#16) applies to all purchases made of Spotify subscriptions paid for using PayPal as the payment method.
Should PayPal Pte or PayPal Giving Fund UK receive any donations independent of the Promotion, which are confirmed by the donor to be for the general benefit of Youth Music, PayPal Pte or PayPal Giving Fund UK will ensure that such donations are granted to Youth Music. Any donations independent of the Promotion received by PayPal Giving Fund UK will be granted to Youth Music in accordance with PayPal Giving Fund UK's policies.
PayPal Pte reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. In exceptional circumstances beyond its control making it impossible for the Promotion to run as set out in these Terms and Conditions, PayPal Pte reserve the right to extend the Promotion End Date or terminate the Promotion early (although such termination will not impact PayPal Pte's commitment to pay donations generated at the date of such termination to PayPal Giving Fund UK).
The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and the courts of England will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising under or in connection with the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions.
