How do I withdraw funds from my PayPal account?

You can withdraw funds from your PayPal account to a local bank account, a Hong Kong bank account or a U.S. bank account. You can also request a check from PayPal.

  • Wire transfer in USD to a Chinese bank account: the minimum amount you can withdraw is $150 USD. The funds will arrive in your bank account within 3 to 7 business days. There's a fee for each withdrawal.
  • Withdrawing funds to a Hong Kong bank account: the minimum amount you can withdraw is $80 HKD. The funds will arrive in your bank account within 3 to 6 business days. If the withdrawal amount is $1,000 HKD or more, you won't be charged any fee. If you withdraw less than $1,000 HKD, you will be charged a fee
  • Withdrawing funds to a U.S. bank account: the minimum amount you can withdraw is $36 USD. The funds will arrive in your bank account within 1 business day. There's a fee for each withdrawal.
  • Requesting a check: the minimum amount you can withdraw is $150 USD. The request usually takes 4-6 weeks to process. There is a fee for each issued check.

To withdraw funds from your PayPal account:

  1. Go to Wallet.
  2. Click Transfer Funds.
  3. Click Transfer to your bank.
  4. Click in minutes or in 1-3 days
  5. Follow the instructions.

Here are a few tips regarding withdrawing money from your PayPal account:

  • If the bank cannot process your request because the details you provided are incomplete or incorrect, the funds will be refunded to your PayPal account within 7-14 business days (a return fee may apply in this case).
  • Please enter the withdrawal information (in English or pinyin only).
  • A withdrawal request can't be canceled.
  • Some bank policies may vary depending on the branch. To make sure you have the most up-to-date policy information, please contact your bank before withdrawing any funds.

All transfers are subject to review and could be delayed or stopped if we identify an issue.
