Terms and Conditions for PayPal UK’s 2019 Giving Tuesday Promotion:

Make a donation to your chosen charity using PayPal on PayPal UK’s fundraising page (www.paypal.co.uk/giveback), or the PayPal App to PayPal Giving Fund between 06:00 on Tuesday 3 December 2019 (“Promotion Start Time”) and 23:59 on 31 December 2019 (“Promotion End Time”) or until such time as the total cap of £150,000 has been reached, whichever occurs first, and PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity in England and Wales with registered charity number 1110538 (“PayPal Giving Fund”) will grant an additional 10% of the donation (“10% Matching”) to benefit your chosen charity (the "Promotion"), so that 110% of your donation will go to charity.

The Promotion is limited to:
i) up to a maximum of £150,000 GBP (the “Total Cap”) total matching funds;
ii) donations up to a total of £15,000 GBP per benefitting charity; and
iii) donations up to a total of £1,000 GBP from a single donor during the Promotion are eligible to be matched.

In order to participate in this Promotion you must:

  • a) have a valid UK PayPal Account in good standing;

  • b) complete a donation via the stated website or the PayPal app, using your PayPal Account on Tuesday 3 December 2019 or before the Promotion End Time;

  • c) have your donation be within the first £1,500,000 GBP of eligible donations received during the promotional period; and

  • d) not have exceeded the £1,000 GBP cap on eligible donations per donor and the £15,000 cap on eligible donations per benefitting charity.

Eligible donations do not include donations made using PayPal on websites or platforms other than the fundraising page noted above. PayPal Giving Fund will claim Gift Aid and grant the funds in full to benefitting charities, but the Gift Aid will not be matched.

The Promotion will end on the Promotion End Time or once the Total Cap has been reached, whichever occurs first. Any donations made after the Total Cap has been reached will not qualify for 10% Matching.

PayPal reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. In exceptional circumstances beyond its control making it impossible for the Promotion to run as set out in these terms and conditions, PayPal reserve the right to extend the Promotion End Time or terminate the Promotion early (although such termination will not impact PayPal Giving Fund’s commitment to grant any donations generated at the date of such termination to the benefitting charities). Your donation will be made to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538). PayPal Giving Fund will email you a donation receipt with a link to add Gift Aid. Thanks to PayPal’s support, PayPal Giving Fund grants 100% of donations it collects on this site to worthy causes. Charities should enrol with PayPal Giving Fund to receive donations we collect to benefit them, which are paid out on a monthly basis. PayPal Giving Fund retains ultimate discretion over all donations it receives and, in rare cases, may redirect funds when a charity does not meet legal or other eligibility requirements.
