The PayPal Refunded Returns service refunds the cost of return shipping for eligible items back to the seller. To start requesting refunds on your return shipping costs, click Activate Now on our Refunded Returns page.

If you don’t have a PayPal account, just click the Sign Up button on the activation page to get started.

How do I request for Refunded Returns?

Once activated, you can ask for a refund on your return shipping cost for eligible items, up to $45 AUD per refund request. To qualify for Refunded Returns, please return the purchased item to the seller within the required timeframe, and retain your postage receipt and documentation as outlined within the General Conditions of Use.

To request a return shipping refund, contact Telus International at with documents to show return shipping costs paid and seller name and address.  
Just follow the PayPal.Me link you’ve been sent or type it in your browser. Type the amount you’d like to send and choose how you’d like to pay. You can send money from your PayPal balance or bank account or choose your preferred debit or credit card. If you don’t have a PayPal account, we’ll help you create one. Sign up is fast and free.

Can I cancel a payment?
You can only cancel payments which have the 'Unclaimed' status. If the payment is completed, you won’t be able to cancel it yourself since your recipient has already received the money. You can reverse a completed payment by contacting your recipient and asking for a refund.

What is the 'PayPal Buyer Protection' checkbox for?
If you’re paying for goods or services, check the box to get eligible items covered by PayPal Buyer Protection. Leave the box unchecked if you’re sending money to your friends or family as those payments are not covered by this policy. 

What are the fees for sending money?
Sending money is free for your transfers in euros in France and within the European Economic Area. There is a fee when you send a payment to someone in another country.

Purchasing goods or services using PayPal is free.

What can I do with PayPal Payments Standard?

You can use PayPal Payments Standard to send invoices online too, so you can get paid sooner.

As with all of our payment solutions, PayPal Payments Standard helps protect your business with our Automatic Fraud Screening, industry-leading data security and reliable customer service.

When you pay with PayPal on any website, PayPal Buyer Protection offers you comprehensive protection if your eligible transaction has a problem, such as if an item doesn’t arrive or is significantly not as described.  If your transaction qualifies for PayPal Buyer Protection we'll reimburse you for the full purchase price plus the original shipping charges.

To qualify for PayPal Buyer Protection:

  • Use PayPal to complete your payment.
  • Pay for the item with one payment. Items purchased with multiple payments aren't eligible.
  • Let the seller know there's a problem with the transaction by opening a dispute in the Resolution Centre within 180 days of making your payment. Then, escalate the dispute to a claim within 20 days of the date you opened the dispute.
  • Keep your PayPal account in good standing.

Note: Some purchases such as vehicles in the Motors category, capital equipment in the Business & Industrial category, and Real Estate aren't eligible for PayPal Buyer Protection.
