How do I have my debit card charged as a credit card?

You can process your Visa or Mastercard debit card payments as credit card transactions if the STAR logo appears on the back of your card.

A refund for a debit card payment you processed as a credit card, should only take 5 business days. It may take up to 30 days to complete, depending on your card issuer.

Here’s how to process your debit Card Payment as a credit card:

1. Click the Finance tab.
2.  Click Send Money under “Make payments.”
3. Enter the recipient's information, then click Next.
4. Enter the amount you want to send.
5. Select "Paying for an item or service" or "Sending to a friend" and click Continue.
6. Add a shipping address if you selected the “Paying for an item or service” option.
7. Select Credit/Debit card and then click Continue.
8. Click Use my Credit card.
9. Click View payment methods under "Review your payment and send."
10. When the pop-up window appears, select "Use the Mastercard Network" or "Use the Visa Card network," and then click Submit.
