If you think you've received a phishing email, send it as an attachment to us at email@example.com
If you can't send it as an attachment, forward the hoax email to us but make sure you refuse any prompts to open attachments or download pictures or files.
We'll review the email and let you know the outcome of our investigation. Stay safe
- Once you've sent us the email, permanently delete it from both your inbox and deleted items folder.
- Log in to your PayPal account to check your transaction history.
- Don't click on links in emails. To log in to your PayPal account, always type www.paypal.com.au in to your browser's address bar.
- Never reply to an email with personal or financial information.
If you clicked on a link in a hoax email or opened or downloaded images or files, perform a full security scan of your computer to check for viruses, Trojans and spyware.
If you responded to the email with personal or financial information, contact us and your bank and/or credit card provider immediately.
