What if something goes wrong with my purchase, what should I do?

If the item you ordered online doesn’t arrive or is significantly different from the seller’s item description, you can file a dispute within 180 days of purchase and start a conversation with the seller.

If you still can’t reach a resolution with your seller, you can escalate the dispute to a claim and we’ll work with you on the case. If you meet the requirements of PayPal Buyer Protection, we’ll reimburse you for the full purchase price of the item plus the original shipping costs.

Note: Starting from November 18, 2014, we're extending the timeframe to open a dispute from 45 days to 180 days. If you've made the transaction before November 18, 2014, you'll still need to open a dispute within 45 days from the transaction date.

You can learn more about PayPal Buyer Protection by clicking Security at the bottom of any PayPal page.
