What is the MyInfo/Singpass CIP Verification Process?
What is MyInfo/Singpass?
Operated by the Singapore government, Singpass is Singapore citizens’ and residents’ trusted digital identity for access to many government and private sector services, online and in person. MyInfo is a digital personal data platform that allows Singpass users to manage and consent to sharing their personal data held with participating government agencies.
When signing up for and verifying their personal profile with a digital services provider, a Singapore resident can authorise the provider to retrieve their personal information stored with MyInfo via Singpass. This can be done by signing into Singpass, reviewing, and confirming the data to be retrieved.
