Why haven't I received the 2 small deposits from PayPal to confirm my bank account?
If you've already confirmed a credit or debit card
Confirming a credit or debit card is a faster way to verify your PayPal account. If you’ve already added and confirmed a card on your PayPal account, your account should be verified now and ready for use.
If you haven't confirmed any other card or bank account
After adding a bank account to your PayPal account, you will need to confirm it. To confirm your bank account, we’ll send 2 small deposits (each between 1.01 and 1.50 INR) to your bank account.
Please allow up to 6 business days for the 2 small deposits to appear in your bank account. You can check your online statement or contact your bank directly to find out the exact amounts of these deposits. Learn more about confirming your bank account.
If it has been more than 6 business days, here are some actions you can take:
- Make sure your bank account is open and active.
- Contact your bank to check the deposits from PayPal, and make sure your bank account accepts electronic transfers. If the bank refuses the small deposits because your account can't receive these deposits, we'd remove this bank account from your PayPal account.
- Review the bank account details you entered on your PayPal account. The small deposits wouldn't go through if we couldn't locate your bank account based on the information you provided. If the information is incorrect, please remove the bank account and add it back again to repeat the confirmation process.
