Why do I need to manually accept or deny a PayPal payment?
Here are some reasons why you need to manually accept or deny a payment on PayPal:
- It’s the first payment you receive in your PayPal account.
- You don’t have an active currency balance in the currency sent.
- You’ve chosen not to automatically accept a payment in the currency the payment was sent.
You’ll have up to 30 days to accept or deny a payment, or it’ll be returned to the sender and marked as "Returned" in the transaction history.
If you accept the payment, PayPal will automatically accept each payment you receive after. If you deny the payment, you can include a message to tell the buyer why you denied the payment.
