How do I refund a PayPal payment to my buyer?

You can issue a full refund or partial refund up to 180 days after you receive a payment. The total refund amount is taken from your PayPal balance. Therefore, if you don't have enough funds in your PayPal Singapore account, you won't be able to issue a refund.

Here's how to refund a payment to your buyer:

  1. Go to Activity.
  2. Find and click on the transaction you want to refund.
  3. Click Refund this payment.
  4. Enter the refund amount and then click Continue.
  5. Confirm the refund details and click Issue Refund.

When you send a refund, we'll retain the fixed fee of your transaction fee. Learn more about transaction fees for sellers.
