How do I link a debit or credit card to my PayPal account?

Here’s how to link a card to your PayPal account:

1. Go to your Payment Methods.
2. Click Link a card.
3. Follow the instructions to link your card.

To link a card on the app:

1. Tap  Payment Methods. 
2. Tap + beside Bank accounts and cards.
3. Tap Debit and Credit Cards.
4. Enter your card details or scan your card.

Here's how to link a card on the PayPal app:

1. Tap Me.
2. Tap Accounts. 
3. 3. Tap + across from "Linked banks and cards."
4. Tap Debit and credit cards.
5. Hold your card in the frame to scan the number.
6. Enter your card’s CVV.
7. Tap Add Card.
   

You can link 4 cards to your unverified PayPal account. When your account is verified, you can link up to 24 cards.
