PayPal Giving Fund.

PayPal Giving Fund (ABN 65 106 950 945) is a Public Ancillary Fund and registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission that uses PayPal technology and financial support to raise new funds for causes without charging donors or charities for PayPal Giving Fund’s services. PayPal Giving Fund does this by enabling donors to support their favorite causes across a number of platforms, including PayPal and Facebook. PayPal Giving Fund receives donations from users as charity of record on these platforms and provides the donation receipt to donors. PayPal Giving Fund then grants the funds to donor-recommended charities. If charities are enrolled in PayPal Giving Fund, they typically receive funds in their PayPal accounts 15-45 days after PayPal Giving Fund's receipt of a donation. If a donor-recommended charity is not enrolled, PayPal Giving Fund will contact the charity to help them enroll, so they can benefit from all our programs and receive donations efficiently and securely. Charities that choose not to enroll with PayPal Giving Fund will be additionally vetted and if eligible, will receive funds via other means, such as a cheque, which takes longer than grants made to enrolled charities - typically 90 days.

By creating online connections between charities and donors, PayPal Giving Fund generates tens of millions of dollars in donations each year for charities.
