Meet the team

Vanessa Babouram,
Country Manager (VP)

Vanessa drives the development of partnerships and runs operations. She started her career at American Express and founded a consultancy supporting independent sustainable businesses and oversees strategic development for the Loss Foundation.

Anya Milligan,
Ireland Financial Controller

Anya handles our accounting, overseeing our financial operations and preparing our accounts. She is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has worked in a wide range of organisations in the private and voluntary sectors.

Emma Kinsella,
Assistant Company Secretary

Emma provides assistant company secretarial support to PayPal and PayPal Giving Fund. She joined PayPal through the acquisition of Hyperwallet in l2018 and has supported the boards for 6 years. She has extensive experience supporting multiple boards and entities across the globe.  

Our board

PayPal Giving Fund Ireland is overseen by an experienced Board of Directors which, on behalf of our donors and beneficiaries, is charged with governing our operations, monitoring our effectiveness, and establishing overall strategy. Among other responsibilities, the board meets regularly to oversee the organization's policies and practices to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Sean Byrne,
Executive Officer & Chief Operating Officer , PayPal

Sean is the chief operating officer for PayPal Europe. He is responsible for credit, governance, change management, outsourcing and technology. Prior to PayPal, Sean was Head of Operational Risk for Daiwa Securities, and Finance & Risk Manager at NatWest. Sean is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, and a graduate of the University of Limerick and University College Dublin.

Maeve Dorman,
VP, Global Merchant Services, PayPal

Maeve Dorman was appointed PayPal's Vice President of Merchant Services, EMEA in 2017, and in 2018 was given the responsibility of leading Merchant Operations globally. Today, as Vice President of Global Merchant Services, Maeve is a member of the senior leadership team of the PayPal Sales organization. Maeve has a special interest in corporate social responsibility and supporting women in business and entrepreneurship.

Annette Hickey,
VP, EMEA Customer Solutions, PayPal

Annette is a seasoned professional with 20 years-experience in customer service leadership. Prior to PayPal, she worked at Vodafone and Eir where she developed a reputation for adding value by putting both the customer and the employee at the centre of decisions. Outside of work Annette is a mum to two young boys and avid Dubs fan.

Nick Aldridge,
CEO, PayPal Giving Fund

Nick heads up the PayPal Giving Fund team globally, supporting its boards in developing strategy and driving its execution. Prior to that, he ran PayPal Giving Fund UK, which he joined from ACEVO, a professional network for charity leaders.
