What should I do if my account is locked?

If your account is locked, that generally means that we need some additional information about your account or your recent transactions. Just click on Contact Us at the bottom of any PayPal page.

When you contact us, please make sure you have the following information so that we can verify you are the account holder:

  • Your phone number.
  • A statement from the credit card or bank account associated with your PayPal account.
  • The email address you used to register for your PayPal account.
