Why can't my customers choose a different shipping address than the default address on their PayPal account?

Our hosted buttons are pre-populated with the customer’s default shipping address, which is the address in their PayPal account. You can update your buttons to ask the customer to specify a shipping address at checkout.

Here's how:

  1. On the Make a PayPal Button page, select View your saved buttons.
  2. Open the button you want to change and click the Edit button.
  3. Under Optional Settings > Advanced variables, enter no_shipping=2 as an advanced variable.
  4. Click Update Saved Button.

Note: For more information about advanced variables, see HTML Variables for PayPal Payments Standard.
