The PayPal Women Luminaries Program is an all-rounded program for passionate female undergraduates to build a solid foundation for a tech career, and develop the skills needed to become leaders in this field.
As a Luminary, you will receive the following benefits:
- A one-time scholarship of SGD4,000 to offset your education expenses
- An internship at PayPal to explore the world of digital payments, with opportunities of conversion to a full-time position upon graduation
- Exclusive access to mentors and internal technical courses, workshops and social events at PayPal
Program Eligibility:
- A Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Currently enrolled as a full-time Year 2/3 undergraduate in one of the eligible universities in Singapore (NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD and SIT)
- Studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields
- Demonstrates passion and strong interests in tech and innovation, with track records of contributing to the tech community
Application Process:
- How do I know if my course of study is eligible for this program?
- I am currently in my final year of study. Am I eligible for this program?
- I have applied to the program in previous rounds, but I was not selected. Am I able to apply again?
- I am currently a recipient of another scholarship/bursary/award/grant/fellowship with monetary disbursement. Can I still apply for this program?
- I am from a non-tech discipline. Are there other opportunities for me at PayPal?
- We accept applications from courses related to technology, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, to name a few. If you are unsure about your eligibility, please email us at wlpsg@paypal.com.
- While priority is given to Year 2 and 3 applicants, final year applicants who demonstrate exceptional academic performance will also be considered. If successful, Luminaries are required to complete an internship of at least 3 months with PayPal.
- We welcome past applicants to re-apply for the program.
- You can apply to the program if your current sponsor allows you to do so. Please state in the application form, as it will be factored into our evaluation process.
