How do I send a payment request?
You can send a payment request for goods and services to anyone who has an email. When the payment request is paid, the amount will be added to your PayPal account balance.
Here's how to send a payment request:
- Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.
- Click Send and Request at the top of the page.
- Click Request payment.
- Type the e-mail and amount, and then click Next.
- Review your request and click Request payment.
Note:
- We will send an email to the recipient with your payment request.
- We will send you an email when the payment request has been paid.
Here’s how to request payments for goods and services using the PayPal App with your mobile phone:
- Tap
Payments, then Get paid. - Enter the name, email address, or mobile phone number of the person you're requesting the money from.
- Enter the amount you’re requesting.
- Tap Next.
- Tap Request Now to complete the request.
