How can I view the status of my refund in my PayPal account?
Here's how to view the status of your refund in your PayPal Hong Kong account:
- Go to Activity.
- Click Advanced filters.
- Click Refunds.
- Click the transaction to view its details.
Refunds will remain pending until the seller's funds have cleared their bank.
Refunds made less than 180 days after payment will go to the original payment source that you used to make this payment.
- If you made a payment using your credit or debit card, the refund is credited back into that card. Depending on the card issuer, it might take up to 30 days for your refund to appear on your next card statement.
- If you made a payment using your PayPal balance, the refund is credited back into your PayPal account within 24 hours.
- If you made a payment partially using your card and PayPal balance, the refund of each partially amount is credited back into that card and PayPal account accordingly.
Refunds made more than 180 days after the original payment are considered new payments and will post to your PayPal balance, minus regular fees for receiving payment.
