To withdraw money on the app:

  4. Follow the instructions.

The withdrawal of money from your PayPal account to a bank account usually takes 2 to 4 business days.

Here are a few tips regarding withdrawing money from your PayPal account:

  • Make sure the name on your bank account matches the name on your PayPal account. For example, if your name is James Patrick Smith, but your bank account is in the name of J P Smith, you should enter J P as your first name. If you don’t enter the name exactly as it appears on your bank statement, the transfer could fail.
  • We only support transfers in local currency. If you withdraw money from a foreign currency balance, there will be a conversion fee.
  • You can withdraw your money to a bank account registered in Switzerland even if this account hasn't been confirmed on your PayPal account. You can't withdraw money to a debit or credit card.
  • You can’t cancel a request to withdraw money.

All transfers are subject to review and could be delayed or stopped if we identify an issue.
