Why is the money I sent on hold?

In some cases, we may place a payment on hold for 24 hours as a security precaution. This can happen for many reasons, such as you haven't sent money in a while or you're sending money to someone new.  

We just need to confirm it's you sending the money. You don't need to do anything.
If there's no issues with the payment, it will complete within 24 hours. If we find that a payment wasn’t authorised, we reverse the transaction.
