*"Eligible Participant": Open only to residents of any one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia who: (1) are eighteen (18) years of age or older; (2) have a U.S. PayPal Balance account that remains in good standing through Reward (defined below) fulfillment (3) have a PayPal Debit MasterCard ^® ("Card") (formerly known as the PayPal Cash Card) (4) receive an authorized email, website, or mobile banner inviting participation in the offer ("Invitation") (eligibility for/those who receive an Invitation will be determined solely by PayPal).

"Eligible Purchase(s)": "Eligible Purchase" is defined as every $20.00 USD spent in-store or online using the Card and finalized by the merchant during the Offer Period (defined below) in the following category: restaurants (according to the Merchant Category Code ("MCC") assigned by each merchant, their processor, and the credit card networks. Only acceptable MCCs for this offer are 5812 and 5814). PayPal is not responsible for assignment of MCC codes. As a result, Reward (defined below) will not be awarded if the MCC code assigned to a particular merchant does not fall within a restaurant category, even if you believe that the merchant is a restaurant. Eligible Purchases do not include: (1) purchases that are marked as “pending” in your Card account as of the end of the Offer Period (defined below), (2) purchases made at eligible merchants using a third-party delivery service, (3) ATM transactions, (4) gift card purchases, (5) any purchase or portion of a purchase that involves a payment method other than the Card, or (6) in-store cash withdrawals/cash back.

"Offer Period": Starts on June 1, 2022, at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2022.

"How to Earn": Eligible Participants will earn $1.00 USD cash back on every Eligible Purchase ("Reward"). For example, an Eligible Purchase of $25 will receive $1 cash back, and an Eligible Purchase of $105 will receive $5 cash back. The Reward will be added to your PayPal balance account associated with the Card that qualified for the Reward and will be paid within five (5) days of the transaction settlement on Eligible Purchases.

Miscellaneous: A PayPal Balance account must remain in good standing from the time of participation through Reward fulfilment, as determined in PayPal’s sole discretion. Eligible Purchase transactions are subject to review and verification. PayPal may provide an alternate reward of equal value if it is unable for any reason to fulfill the Reward. If an Eligible Purchase transaction is refunded, results in a failed capture, or otherwise does not complete during the Offer Period, that Eligible Purchase will not qualify. PayPal reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify this offer in part or in its entirety at any time without notice, for any reason in its sole discretion. Similar offers may run at the same time; qualification for this offer does not constitute qualification for any other offer. PayPal is not responsible and/or liable for any lost, fraudulent, abusive, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, altered, defective, misdirected, tampered with, or irregular in any way e-mail, Reward, or offer-related materials or correspondence or if any participant’s e-mail address, PayPal Balance account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without participant giving prior written notice to PayPal. PayPal reserves the right to review any account or transaction related to this offer, in its sole discretion, without notice, and delay or reverse completion of the Reward. Offer is void where prohibited or if Eligible Participant’s account or Eligible Purchases are fraudulent, abusive, not completed through legitimate channels, or if any offer-related materials are counterfeit, altered, defective, tampered with or irregular in any way. Offer is not transferable. Participation in offer is subject to PayPal User Agreement. Any questions relating to the offer will be resolved in PayPal’s sole discretion and its decisions related to the offer will be final and binding.

You will not receive any interest on the funds in your PayPal Balance account. Cash funds held in a PayPal Balance account are not eligible for FDIC pass-through insurance coverage unless you have a PayPal Debit Card, or have enrolled in Direct Deposit, or have bought cryptocurrency. If your PayPal Balance account is eligible for FDIC pass-through insurance, PayPal will deposit your cash funds into one or more custodial accounts maintained for the benefit of eligible customers at one or more FDIC-insured banks. The Bancorp Bank does not hold your PayPal Balance account funds.
