Your PayPal Cash Card was declined because it's closed
A recent transaction with your PayPal Cash Card was declined because the card has been closed. If you had any automatic payments scheduled with your previous PayPal Cash Card information, please be sure to contact the merchant to provide another means of payment. You can also request a new card (linked to request card) or if you’ve already received your new card you can activate it online or by calling 1-800-314-8298.
You can also activate your new PayPal Cash Card in the PayPal app. Here’s how:
- Log in to the PayPal app.
- Click Activate.
- Enter the card expiration date when prompted.
- Click Activate Card.
