How do I set payment preferences for Virtual terminal?

In Virtual Terminal, you can set payment preferences that help you complete transactions faster with fewer errors or mishaps.

To ensure that you don't receive duplicate payments, you should assign a unique Invoice ID for every payment received. Using an Invoice ID for every transaction enables PayPal to help you to block duplicate payments.

Here's how to change the Block payments setting:
  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Select Profile > Profile and settings > My selling tools > Block payments. The Payment Receiving Preferences page appears.
  3. Change the default setting for Block accidental payments, which is Yes. To do so, click the button labeled No, allow multiple payments per invoice ID.
  4. Click Save.
