What happens after I submit my dispute through PayPal Credit?

Once we receive your dispute, we’ll send a written confirmation that it was received, and begin our investigation. We’ll do this within 30 days of receiving your dispute, unless we’ve already corrected the error.

The disputed amount will continue to appear on your bill, including interest charges, but we won’t attempt to collect the disputed amount from you and you won't be responsible for paying for the transaction or any related interest or fees while we investigate your dispute. You’re responsible for making payments on any remaining balance owed on your account that isn’t in dispute.

We’ll notify you by email if we need additional information from you to process your dispute. Please respond promptly to any requests for additional information.
