You can process your Visa or Mastercard debit card payments as credit card transactions if the STAR logo appears on the back of your card.

A refund for a debit card payment you processed as a credit card, should only take 5 business days. It may take up to 30 days to complete, depending on your card issuer.

Here’s how to process your debit card payment as a credit card:

1. Click Send & Request at the top of the page.
2. Click the Send tab.
3. Enter the recipient's information, then click Next.
4. Enter the amount you want to send.
5. Select "Paying for an item or service" or "Sending to a friend" and click Continue.
6. Add a shipping address if you selected the “Paying for an item or service” option.
7. Click Continue.
8. Choose your debit card as the payment method and select Use the Mastercard Network or Use the Visa Card network.
9. Click Submit.
10. Review the amount, then click Send Payments Now.
