Add a credit card or prepaid card

To link a credit card or prepaid card with your PayPal account:

1. Click Wallet near the top of the page.
2. Click Link a card.
3. Fill in the required information, and then click Save.

Verified users can add up to 8 cards. However, each credit card or prepaid card can only be registered to one PayPal account at a time.

Change a credit card or prepaid card

To update the expiration date of the credit card from your account Profile:

1. Click Wallet near the top of the page.
2. Click the icon for the card you wish to update.
3. Click Edit.
4. Fill in the updated information, and then click Save.

Remove a credit card or prepaid card

To remove a credit card or prepaid card from your account Profile:

1. Click Wallet near the top of the page.
2. Click the icon for the card you wish to update.
3. Click Edit.
4. Click Remove card.

Note: each time you add a card or update the information, the equivalent of US$ 1.00 is blocked on the card in order to verify the validity. This is not an actual charge and the amount will be released after a short time. If, after 30 days, you still see this item, please contact your card issuer.
