PayPal Reward Terms and Conditions



The following terms are applicable to your use and redemption of the reward provided by the third-party sponsor of the offer that qualified you for the reward (“Sponsor”). Such offer is not sponsored or endorsed by PayPal, Inc., PayPal Pte. Ltd or any of their affiliates (“PayPal”). PayPal is not responsible for the administration of the offer and all questions related to administration of the offer should be directed to Sponsor.

Deadlines, limits, caps, eligibility requirements (such as country of residency), and other applicable terms in relation to the Sponsor’s campaign or offer will be communicated by Sponsor, except in all cases recipients must: (1) be eighteen (18) years of age or older, and (2) have or open a PayPal account that remains in good standing, (for example, it’s not restricted, limited or has a negative balance) (“Valid Account”) to redeem the reward. Residents of Australia must be existing PayPal account holders to select a PayPal reward.

Reward may be redeemed on online purchases using the recipient’s Valid Account: (1) at merchants that accept PayPal online and are in good standing with PayPal, (2) by the deadline communicated by Sponsor, and (3) made in the currency that matches the reward received (“Eligible Purchases”). Rewards will be automatically applied to the recipient’s next Eligible Purchase using their Valid Account. There is no required minimum spend and reward may be spread across multiple Eligible Purchases. Eligible Purchases do not include: (1) send/receive money transactions (including those marked as a “Goods and Services” payments) (2) purchases made using PayPal.me; (3) physical PayPal-branded debit and credit card purchases made using the card directly and not through your Valid Account (4) Scan/Pay transactions using PayPal’s QR code functionality; (5) purchases of cryptocurrency with PayPal; (6) PayPal transaction fees (all products listed in this section may not be available in recipient’s country).

The reward will be viewable in the “Offers” section of the recipient’s Valid Account for personal or premier (where available) accounts. For business accounts, the reward will only be visible during checkout and on the purchase transaction receipt(s). The reward may only be redeemed as described in these terms & conditions and applicable terms set forth by Sponsor. Use of the reward will be reflected on the recipient’s PayPal receipt and/or in the transaction details of his/her Valid Account.

Reward redemptions are final, will not be returned, and are subject to review and verification by PayPal and / or the Sponsor. The reward has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred out of the Eligible Participant’s Valid Account, except in PayPal’s sole discretion. The reward is separate and different to PayPal balance. If item(s) purchased using a reward are returned and the deadline communicated by Sponsor has expired, PayPal will first refund the money spent to the payment method used to complete the Eligible Purchase and purchase amount in excess of the money spent (i.e., the value of the reward) will not be refunded. If the reward redemption period has not expired, the value of the reward will be returned to the Offers section of the Valid Account and will be available for use by the account holder. PayPal is not responsible and/or liable for any lost, stolen, late, incomplete, illegible, interrupted, delayed, or misdirected e-mail, reward, or offer-related materials or correspondence or if any participant’s e-mail address, Valid Account, or other contact information does not work, is deleted, or is changed without participant giving prior written notice to PayPal or Sponsor. PayPal reserves the right to review any account or transaction related to this offer, in its sole discretion, without notice, and delay or reverse completion of the Reward.
