How do I dispute a PayPal Credit charge?

If you believe that your credit balance is incorrect, a recent payment has not been credited correctly, or there is an error of any kind on your PayPal Credit statement, you can let us know by filing a dispute on your PayPal account. We’ll research the dispute on your behalf and contact you with the results.

Often, disputed charges are legitimate charges that customers may not recognise or remember. If you’re not sure, we recommend contacting the merchant to check what the charge is for, before opening a dispute.

If you're satisfied that the charge is an error, please go ahead and open a dispute.

To open a dispute:

  1. Go to Resolution Centre.
  2. Click Dispute a Transaction.
  3. Select the item you wish to dispute, click Continue, and follow the rest of the instructions provided to submit your dispute.
