GoFundMe enables its users to raise funds to benefit the charity of their choice. Through the platform, users can donate to current charity fundraising campaigns or create their own unique campaigns for the charity they want to support. 

Donations made via GoFundMe are sent directly to PayPal Giving Fund and not the fundraiser. PayPal Giving Fund then grants the donation to the donor's recommended charity.

There is a platform and processing fee and donors have the option to tip GoFundMe to cover the cost of their support services.
