If you complete an Authorization transaction in Virtual Terminal, you must capture the funds in order to receive payment.

Note: PayPal recommends that you capture payments within three days after the original Authorization.

Here's how to capture an Authorization transaction:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Activity.
3. Do one of the following:

• Click Capture in the Actions column for the transaction you want to capture.
• Click the name of the billing company or person for this transaction. You'll see information about the transaction on the Transaction Details page. Then, click Capture.
