How do I add, remove or update an email address on my PayPal account?

Here's how to add, remove or update an email address:

1. Go to your Settings.
2. In the "Emails" section, you can add, edit or remove:
   • To add a new email address, click +Add. Enter the email address and click Confirm. We'll automatically send you an email to confirm it. 
   • To update an email address, click Edit next to the address you want to change. 
   • To remove an email address, click the three dots next to the email address you want to remove, then select Delete.

Here's how to add, remove or update an email address in the PayPal App:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Open the menu (three lines or profile icon, depending on your view).
3. Under Profile Support, select Your Profile.
4. Select the Contact info button.
5. In the "Emails" section, select See All.
6. Select Add a New Email.
7. Enter the new email address and save.
8. Go to your email inbox and click the verification link from PayPal to confirm the new email.

Remove an email

1. Follow steps 1–5 above to reach See all under Emails.
2. Find the email you want to remove.
3. Select Remove or the trash/delete icon next to that email.
4. Confirm that you want to remove it; note that you cannot remove your current primary email until a different email is set as primary.

You can't edit or delete your primary email address. If you want to remove your primary email address, you first need to set up another email address as your primary email address.
