Why did I get API error code 10610?

Issue
PayPal returned API error code 10610 - Amount specified exceeds allowable limit.

Cause
You tried to submit a DoAuthorization, DoCapture, or DoReAuthorization for an amount beyond your allowable limits.

Solution
Retry the request with a lower amount.
