Why is my transaction status “sent to PayPal?”

If your transaction status is “sent to PayPal,” it means that we paid the merchant for you and you haven’t been charged yet.

We’ll charge the payment method you chose for this and other small purchases after you spend a certain amount or on a specific date, whichever comes first. For more information, go to the Transaction Details page.

Here’s how you can view the amount and date on the Transaction Details page:

  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Activity at the top of the page.
  3. Click Details next to the transaction.
  4. On the Transaction Details page, the amount and date are displayed in Description.ywords: sent to paypal, scheduled payment, transaction status.
