How do I contact PayPal customer service?

Message Center

You can message us anytime. Just log in to PayPal, go to your Message Center and choose “New Message.”

To message us on the PayPal app: 

  1. Tap your Profile Photo
  2. Tap Message Center
  3. Tap contact us.
  4. Select your issue and follow the instructions.

To contact us on Facebook, go to facebook.com/PayPal

To contact us on X (Twitter), go to twitter.com/AskPayPal

To contact us on Instagram, go to instagram.com/PayPal

To contact us on the website: 

  1. Go to our Contact Us page. 
  2. Choose the issue that most closely matches your reason for contacting us. 
  3. If the information you're shown doesn't answer your question, scroll down.
  4. Depending on the issue and whether or not you're logged in, you'll see an option to message us, call us, use the PayPal chatbot, or ask the community.

To contact us on the PayPal app: 

  1. Tap your profile photo
  2. Choose Help
  3. Choose the issue that most closely matches your reason for contacting us. 
  4. If the information you’re shown doesn't answer your question, scroll down and select Contact PayPal Support.
  5. Depending on the issue, you'll see an option to Message us, access the Resolution Center, or Call Us.
