Why did I get API error code 10535?

The credit or debit card number supplied is invalid.

Check that the CreditCardType parameter is passing a valid variable as listed below and re-send your API call.

For the United Kingdom, only Maestro, Master Card, and Visa are allowable. For Canada, only Master Card and Visa are allowable. Interac debit cards aren't supported.

Valid credit card types are:

• Visa
• Master Card
• Discover
• AMEX
• JCB
• Maestro (if the credit card type is Maestro, you must set CURRENCYCODE to GBP. In addition, you must specify either STARTDATE or ISSUENUMBER).
